 Hotel Description
Location. The Sheraton Dallas hotel is located in the downtown arts and financial district of Dallas, Texas. The hotel stands two blocks from the Majestic Theater and eight blocks from the Dallas Convention Center.
Hotel Features. Bagels on Bryan serves on-the-run fare, while the Pearl Street Café prepares Tex-Mex and Southwest-style cuisine. Player's Sports Bar offers big-screen television entertainment and refreshments. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access is available in public areas for a fee. Function facilities encompass 230,000 square feet of space. Recreational amenities include a limited-hour, complimentary fitness room, indoor and outdoor lap pools, two spa tubs, and two saunas.

Guestrooms. This 38-story property offers 1,840 guestrooms and suites. Selects rooms are furnished with Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Beds. These beds feature custom pillowtop mattresses, down/feather pillows and cotton sheets. Select accommodations reflect mahogany furnishings and Southwest-patterned fabrics, while other accommodations feature muted earth-toned color schemes. Select rooms include flat-screen televisions. Bathrooms feature granite floors and are stocked with Bliss bath products. Most accommodations feature only high-speed wired Internet access for a fee, while select accommodations offer wireless Internet access for a fee.

Expert Tip. The M-Line Trolley-Bus Route 712 stops outside the hotel and offers complimentary transportation to the West End, Neiman Marcus and the Dallas Museum of Art. Located two blocks from the hotel, the DART blue and red lines offer transportation to the Dallas Zoo, the American Airlines Center, and both downtown Dallas and Fort Worth.

Renovation Notice:
The hotel is scheduled to undergo extensive renovations beginning October 2008. There may be noise disturbance. The estimated completion date is June 2009, when the hotel will become the Sheraton Dallas.
